Reds activate OF TJ Friedl for Speedway Classic

The Cincinnati Reds activated outfielder TJ Friedl from the restricted list in advance of Saturday's Speedway Classic on Saturday against the Atlanta Braves at Bristol, Tenn.
Friedl had first been on the paternity list for the birth of his child then moved to the restricted list to get one more day with his family.
The Reds also activated outfielder Miguel Andujar and right-hander Zack Littell, who were acquired in trades this week. In corresponding moves, right-hander Lyon Richardson and outfielder Connor Joe were optioned to Triple-A Louisville.
Friedl, 29, is batting .269 with 10 home runs and 36 RBIs in 103 games this season. Andujar, 30, was batting .298 with six home runs and 27 RBIs in 60 games with the Athletics and Littell, 29, was 8-8 with a 3.58 ERA in 22 starts with the Tampa Bay Rays.
